PUBLIC FIGURES / EDITORIAL METHODS

IDENTITY, SOURCE & CLAIM RULES

Extending F-117A past the current 150 officeholders without changing those permanent records or treating commentary as proven misconduct.

This module is a Phase 11 additive extension. The approved phase/build history and all old permanent routes remain valid.

Permanent public-figure ID

Each approved public figure receives an immutable pf_ identity. No p03 per_ senator or ofc_ seat is invented.

Evidence-gated addition

An identity source, dated role, photo provenance and approved published connection are required. Empty or missing evidence remains visible.

Article association by ID

The canonical private article JSON has related_public_figures: [{id,role, note}]. The final overlay renders links on both pages, without assigning a mention to the wrong speaker.

Manual statement and claim review

Non-incumbent quotes and reviews use separate pfstmt_/pfclm_ namespaces. They are source-scoped and cross-linked, never silently fed into current-senator statistics.

Portrait rights

The actual image source, photographer/institution, legal-use status and a fallback are displayed. Do not fabricate an AI likeness or unsupported license.

Correction history

Published URLs, dated sources, revisions and known limitations survive future rebuilds. No source should silently switch authors.

Static publication

Bots prepare reviewed JSON and complete site archives; the publisher uploads only the root-index static site ZIP. No reader-facing editor, D1, R2 or account keys.
